Memorial services for Lucy Anne Vaughan Wynn, 66, of Indianola will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 22, 2012 at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, Indianola. She passed away at St. Dominic’s Hospital on Wednesday, December 19, 2012. Arrangements are under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Indianola. Lucy was born on July 23, 1946, in Yazoo City Mississippi. She graduated from Yazoo City High School and attended Mississippi State College for Women in Columbus, Mississippi. Lucy was a bank teller at Community Bank and bon vivant in Indianola, Mississippi. Lucy is preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Clinton Wynn; her parents, Stewart Vaughan and Lenore Hall Vaughan of Yazoo City, MS; and her daughter, Mary Doss. She is survived by her brother Stewart Vaughan (Brenda) of Tulsa, Oklahoma and two sisters Carolyn McDermott (Bill) of McKinney, Texas and Cindy Foose of Greenwood, Mississippi. Lucy leaves her four girls, LeAnne Gault of Greenwood, Mississippi; Vaughan Hill (Josh) of Ackerman, Mississippi; Cynthia Cooper (Scotty) of Lowell, Arkansas; and Ginny Pantin (Hank) of Greenwood, MS; and eight grandchildren; and many loving friends who will always say “I love Lucy”. A visitation will follow the services at Lucy’s home. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations sent to Mississippi Heart Institute at St. Dominic’s Hospital or the charity of your choice.
