Funeral services for Cecil David Clark, 89, of Hollandale will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 26, 2012 at Hollandale Baptist Church. He died Monday, April 23, 2012 at his home in Hollandale. Burial will be in Hollandale Cemetery under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Leland. He was a native of Tremont, MS where he attended public schools. He later lived in Delta City and Cary before moving to Hollandale in 1948 where he became manager of Southland Gas. He was preceded in death by his wife, Erlene Furr Clark in 2011. He was a member of Hollandale Baptist Church. He is survived by 2 sons, Ronnie Clark (Peggy) of Ruleville and Gary Clark (Marie) of Etta; 2 brothers, Jerry Clark of Pensacola, FL and Jack Clark of Mobile, AL; 2 sisters, Lucille Whitworth of Cordova, TN and Diane Hayes of Derma, AL and 8 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 p.m., Thursday at Hollandale Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hollandale Baptist Church.
