Private Memorial Services for Helen Vernell Rutledge, 65, of Doddsville will be held at a later date. She died Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at Greenwood Leflore Hospital. Arrangements are under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Indianola. Ms. Rutledge was a native of Sunflower County where she graduated from Linn High School and was a graduate of Delta State University. She was a longtime Interior Decorator and was a member of Linn Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents Robert Clyde and Elsie Brantley Rutledge and by a sister, Quida R. Staniswalski. She is survived by 4 sisters, Vivian R. Jefcoat of Houston, TX, Clydean R. Lodowick of New Mexico, Kay R. Causey of Adairsville, GA and Robbie R. Nichols of Greenwood, MS.
