Funeral services for Sarah Blount Taylor, 76, of Greenville will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, February 8, 2013 at Boone Funeral Home, Greenville. She died Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at Delta Regional Medical Center. Burial will be in the Greenville Cemetery under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville. Mrs. Taylor was born in Teoc, MS. She married and moved to Greenville in 1955 where she was the business manager for McMillan Supply Company for 24 years and then became employed as a purchasing agent for Greenville Public Schools retiring in 2008. Mrs. Taylor was a member of Second Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry F. and Ethel Mann Blount and by her husband, Ben L. Taylor. She is survived by 3 daughters, Brenda Jo Trainer, Melissa Anderson and Gina Rynell Taylor all of Greenville; a son, Larry W. Taylor (Donna) of Carrollton, MS; 2 sisters, Ethel Lee Montgomery (V.L.) of Elliott, MS and Lillie Jeanette Fielder (Burnett) of Gore Springs, MS; 4 brothers, Bill Blount (Debbie) of Amory, MS, Tommy Blount (Ruby) of Teoc, MS, Henry Blount, Jr. of Teoc, MS and Phillip Blount (Trenda) of Conway, AR; 7 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Thursday, February 7, 2013 at Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.
