Funeral services for Elizabeth Smith Love, 88, of Greenwood will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 19, 2012 at Lake Washington First Baptist Church, Glen Allan, MS. She died Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at Greenwood Leflore Hospital, Greenwood. Burial will be in Greenfield Cemetery, Glen Allan under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville. Mrs. Love was born in Chester, MS in Choctaw County on May 27, 1923 to Herman and Norma Wise Smith. She was the older of 2 daughters. She was a member of Lake Washington First Baptist Church and lived out her faith as a homemaker. She was a wife for over seventy years and a dedicated mother. She sacrificially devoted her life to the care of one of hers sons, Paul Jr., who was a quadriplegic for over fifty years. Mrs. Love was preceded in death by her husband Paul Clifford Love, Sr., a daughter, Mary Elizabeth Love Saad, and a son, Paul Love, Jr. Mrs. Love is survived by her son, Kirby Love (Carol) of Greenwood; her sister, Mrs. Kathryn Lee of Starkville; 2 granddaughters, Laura Love Smith (Jeff) of Navarre, FL and Mary Martha Scrivener (Don) of Vaiden; 1 grandson, James Robert Love II of Manhattan, KS; a great-granddaughter, Rani Scrivener and 3 great-grandsons, Joshua and David Smith and Andrew Scrivener. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 19, 2012 at Lake Washington First Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Lake Washington First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall or to the Arms of Mercy, P.O. Box 4691, Greenville, MS 38701.
