Funeral services for Bobby “Keith” Woods, 68, of Greenville will be 3:00 p.m. Monday, November 19 at Boone Funeral Home Chapel, Hollandale. He died Saturday, November 17 at University Medical Center in Jackson. Burial will follow in the Hollandale City Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.
Keith was a native of Hollandale and graduated from Anguilla High School. He moved to Greenville in 1964 where he owned and operated Main Street Mufflers for 37 years. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed his grandsons and children. He was strong willed with his ideas and was adored by his friends and family . He fought hard to beat his blood disease.
Keith was preceded in death by his parents, Otis and Irene Maxey Woods and a sister, Melinda W. Perkins. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Frances Watford Woods of Greenville; a daughter, Michelle W. Sanders of Richland; a son, Kenny Woods of Magee; 3 sisters, Andra Geise of Hernando, and Veleda King and Sandra Bridges, both of Jackson; a brother, Randal Woods of Greenville; and 2 grandsons, Gavyn and Garrett Sanders.
A visitation will be held 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. Monday at Boone Chapel, Hollandale. Memorials may be made to Boswell Regional Center in Magee, MS or Blair Batson Children’s Hospital, Jackson, MS.
