Graveside services for David Rogers Blalock will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, April 6, 2026 at Hollandale Cemetery. David went to his Lord and Savior on Saturday, April 4, 2026 at Washington Care Center in Greenville. Services are under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Leland.
David was born January 11, 1965 in Columbus, GA to William Rogers Blalock Jr. and Joy Ruth Blalock. He was raised in Houston, TX, and worked construction most of his adult life which led to a lifelong enjoyment of wood carving crosses with which he blessed others. David enjoyed outdoors and fishing. He was kind and loving. As a recovering alcoholic with over 30 years of sobriety, he was always willing to help those on their recovery journey.
David is survived by his son Gabe Blalock, sisters Lisa Sandifer and Theresa Williams; eight nieces and nephews and fourteen great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents William and Joy.
