Funeral Mass for Julia Muriel Condon Farr, 94, of Greenville will be at 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 4, 2012 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. She died peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, June 2, 2012. Burial will be in Greenville Cemetery under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville. Mrs. Farr was a communicant of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Patrick and Mayzelle Condon, her husband of 59 years, Philip A. Farr, Sr., her son, Philip A. Farr, Jr., her grandson, Philip A. Farr, III, two sisters, Mary “Tootsie” Thompson and Laura “Connie” Lane and by two brothers, William Condon and Robert Condon. Mrs. Farr is survived by a son, William A. Farr and wife Francis of Greenville; a daughter, Patricia Farr Sory and husband William “Chappy” of Purvis, MS; a daughter-in-law, Sarah Jane Farr of Guatemala, 13 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 a.m., Monday, June 4, 2012 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. The family would like to extend their deep appreciation for the special care provided by Grace Community Hospice, especially to nurse Faye Riddell and Mrs. Farr’s caretakers, Jackie Price and Omelia Williams.
