Greenville, MS Funeral services for Lula Ward Stone, age 91, of Greenville will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 2 at Boone Funeral Home, Greenville. She died Sunday, February 26 at her home. Burial will follow in the Greenville Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville. Mrs. Stone was a native of Quitman County, Mississippi and attended the Panola Schools. She married Henry Stone in 1936, and they made their home in Greenville in 1942. She worked for Sears from 1950 until 1970. She was a Baptist. Mrs. Stone was preceded in death by her husband in 1983. She is survived by a son, Charles E. Stone (Fay) of Greenville; a sister, Mable Austin (Stacey) of Columbus, MS; a brother, Paul Ward of Little Rock, AR; 3 grandchildren, Charles E. Stone II of Wynne, AR, Henry E. Stone II of McCloud, OK, and Roxanne Pardon (William) of Avon, MS; and a great-granddaughter, Tierra Nolan (Tommy) of Avon, MS.
