Memorial services for William “Bill” Dixon Siddon, 71, of Avon will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday at Avon United Methodist Church. He died Saturday, November 5, 2011 at River Region Medical Center, Vicksburg. Burial will be in County Line Cemetery, Glen Allan. Arrangments are under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Leland. He was born in Holmes County the son of Harvey and Mary McNeer Siddon. He was a longtime resident of Avon, MS. He is preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, Eugene Siddon, Wilburn Siddon and Micky Siddon and 2 sisters, Mamie Siddon and Mary Lou Farmer. He is survived by his wife, Pat Siddon of Avon; son, Steve Siddon (Janet) of Wayside; 2 grandchildren, Dawn Baringer and Robbie Siddon both of Yuma, AZ; 4 great grandchildren, Katlin and Lizzy Baringer, Rory and Evie Siddon; 2 brothers, Mike Siddon (Nancy) of Leland and Pete Siddon (Becky) of Springfield, OR; 3 sisters, Alice Rasberry of Southaven, Beulah Laird of Lexington and Lyda Tavenner (Garion) of Avon; 2 adopted sisters, Zibbi Richardson of Avon and Martha Underhill of Avon and a special family friend, Kathy Davis. The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Avon United Methodist Church. The Rev. Greg Ducker will officiate. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Avon United Methodist Church Building Fund.
