Funeral services for Alice Faye Crowley Thomas, 55, of Greenville will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 27, 2012 at Boone Funeral Home, Greenville. She died Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at Delta Regional Medical Center. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville. Alice was born in Chicago, IL on January 1, 1957 and was proud of the fact that she was the second child born in Chicago that year. She later moved to Greenville where she attended Greenville High School. In 1983 she married Dennis Thomas. Alice had a special place in her heart for music and was a part of the Crowley Trio Gospel Singers. She was a member of the Pentecostal Light House Church. Alice was loved by all and will be missed but her memories will live forever. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Laurie Allison Thomas and by her father, James Crowley. She is survived by her husband Dennis Thomas of Greenville; a daughter, Heather Thomas (Gary Manus) of Greenville; her mother, Christine Gordon Crowley of Greenville; 2 sisters, Brenda Crowley and Diane C. Johnson both of Greenville; a grandson, Thomas Manus of Greenville and nephew, Chris Johnson of Mountain Grove, MO. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday, July 26, 2012 at Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.
