Debra Horton Glenn

Debra Horton Glenn, 73, of Iuka, MS passed away peacefully on July 24th, 2026 at 4:32 AM after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born on January 1, 1953 in Leland, MS, she was the beloved daughter of Skipper and Juanita Horton. Throughout her life, she was known for her kindness, the passion she had for her family, her faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, and a small obsession with McCarty and Peter’s Pottery. She touched countless lives with her unwavering love and compassion.

Above all else, Debra cherished her family. She found her greatest joy in being a mother, grandmother, wife, sister, daughter, and friend. Her home was a place where her love was evident in the times that were shared, conversations held, and memories created.

Those who knew her will remember her for her passion to help others and her overall selfless nature. She had a way of making everyone laugh and was a very supporting and loving presence in all of her family’s lives. She always wanted to do something to make someone else’s life better, and thrived on knowing that her family was loved and completely cared for. There was never a time where anyone had to want for anything. She went to the ends of the Earth to ensure that each of our days were better. Each time you left her, she’d let you know that she “loved you to the moon and back.”

She is survived by her mother, Juanita Horton; her beloved husband, Grover Glenn; her children, Cameron Glenn (Anna) and Meredith Glasscock (Bud); her grandchildren, Kate and Grant Glasscock and Brooks and Hudson Glenn; her siblings, Ricky Horton and Connie Garner (Tommy); as well as many other extended family members and dear friends who will forever treasure her memory.

She was preceded in death by her father, Skipper Horton.

Although our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing that her legacy lives on through the lives she touched. Her love, kindness, and faith will continue to guide her family for generations to come. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, from 12:00-2:00 PM at Boone Funeral Home in Leland, MS.
