Funeral services for Mary Lois Goss Parkerson Wiltshire, age 95, of Greenville will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 2, at Boone Funeral Home, Greenville. She died Saturday, September 29 at Washington Care Center. Burial will follow at the Oddfellows Cemetery, Greenwood. Services are under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.
Mrs. Wiltshire was a native of Carroll County, Mississippi, where she graduated from high school. She married James Parkerson, and they made their home in Greenwood. He preceded her in death in 1993. She later married William Wiltshire, and they lived in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death in 2010. She has been a resident of Greenville for the last 8 years and was a member of the Greenville Bible Church.
She is also preceded in death by a son, Robert “Bobby” Eugene Parkerson. Survivors include a son, Dr. James Royce Parkerson, Jr. (Catherine) of Greenville; 5 granchildren, Robert Parkerson of Dallas, TX, Michael Parkerson (Lindsay) of Madison, MS, Kim Mulloy of Rankin, MS, Dr. James R. Parkerson III (Brandee) of Greenville, MS, and Elizabeth Rush (Chris) of Dallas, TX; 16 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held one hour before services Tuesday at the funeral home.
