Joseph Harle “Willie” Wilson

Funeral services for Joseph Harle “Willie” Wilson, 87, of Greenville will be at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, February 2, 2012 at Boone Funeral Home. He passed away on Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at Delta Regional Medical Center.  Burial will be in Greenville Cemetery under the direction of Boone Funeral Home. Harle was born in Cleveland, TN to the late Joseph Harle Wilson Sr. and Elizabeth Branton Wilson.  The family moved to Avon when he was 2 years old.  He attended Riverside school and graduated from Greenville High School.   Harle was a long time member of Avon United Methodist Church.  He was engaged in farming for many years and later owned and operated Wilson’s Junktique in Greenville where he was a friend to many of his customers.  His greatest joys were God, family, and friends. Survived by loving wife of 66 years, Doris Jean Lenhart Wilson of Avon; children Donna Ray (Joe) of Greenville and Joe Wilson (Sylvia) of Cary, NC;  grandchildren Carrey Morales (Mike) of Round Rock, TX, Jaime Key (Carlo) of San Antonio, TX; Beth Pate(Mitchell) of Flowood, MS;  Emily Ray of Jackson, MS;  and  great grandchildren Ethan Morales, Bella Morales, Christian Key, and Alexander Key. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 a.m., Thursday, February 2, 2012 at Boone Funeral Home with Greg Ducker officiating.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Avon United Methodist Church, Box 127, Avon MS 38723.
