Funeral services for Frances Strickling Briggs, 83, of Greenville will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 8, 2012 at Boone Funeral Home, Greenville. She died Thursday, December 6, 2012 at Washington Care Center. Burial will be in County Line Cemetery, Glen Allan under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville. Mrs. Briggs was born May 28, 1929. She was an active member of Glendale Baptist Church form many years. She was preceded in death by her husband Clarence E. Briggs; her mother, Mary E. Strickling; her father, D.D. Strickling; her sister, Ollie Mae Hill; and her brothers, John Strickling, J. W. Strickling, Clifton Strickling, Albert Strickling, Odel Strickling, Howard Strickling, and Marvin Strickling. A visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 8, 2012 at Boone Funeral Home, Greenville. Dr. Dick Hill and Rev. Roy Webb will be officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Glendale Baptist Church or to Glimpses of Grace.
