Greenville, MS Funeral services for Betty Jean Henderson Nelson, age 85, of Greenville will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 17 at First United Methodist Church. She died Wednesday, March 14 at her home. Burial will follow in the Greenville Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville. Mrs. Nelson was born in Greenville and graduated from Greenville High School in 1943. She married Charles Martin Nelson, and they made their home in Greenville. She worked most of her adult life in banking and retired from Greenville Bank and Trust as Vice President. Mrs. Nelson was preceded in death by her husband and is survived by a brother, Paul R. Henderson, Jr.; 6 nieces, Zetta Henderson Morrisroe (Ed), Donya Henderson Braun (Corey), Beverly Buehler Johnston (Bert), Carolyn Buehler Moore (Emmett), Sara Buehler Walker (Charles), and Marcy Buehler Feist (Andrew); a nephew, Ernest B. Buehler IV; and a caregiver and companion, Ether Lee Young. Visitation will be 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Friday, March 16 at Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.
