Graveside services for Crystal Laverne Boykin, 57, of Brandon will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 7, 2012 at Greenville Cemetery, Greenville. She died Wednesday, April 4, 2012 in Ridgeland after a short illness. Arrangments are under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville. She was born in Munich Germany, November 17, 1954 and is the daughter of Lt. Col. (Ret.) Arnold L. Boykin and Mary Taggart Boykin of Ridgeland, and the granddaughter of late William and Mary Taggart of Greenville, and late Ralph and Louise Boykin of Columbus, MS. She is survived by her parents and three sisters, Mary B. Martinez, Julia B. Weber Cheryl B. Lunn, one niece, six nephews and their children, and by cousins living in Greenville, Texas and Arkansas. She had been a dosimetrist with the University of Mississippi Medical Center’s department of Radiology Oncology for a number of years, having moved from Scripps Memorial Hospital at La Jolla, California. The family will receive friends after the services at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Max McWhorter, 501 Cypress Lane, Greenville, MS.
