Funeral services for Vera Beier Ware, 92, of Leland will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 5, 2012 at First Baptist Church Chapel, Leland. She died Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at Legacy Manor Nursing & Rehab Center in Greenville. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Leland. She was born in Louisiana, moving to Leflore county (Morgan City) with her parents at an early age where she attended the Morgan City public school. She had been a resident of Leland since 1947. In 1951 she attended Delta Beauty College and owned and operated the Leland Beauty Shop until her retirement in 1990. She was preceded in death by her husband Luther E. Ware in 1972 and a son Luther Earl Ware in 1935. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Leland. She is survived by 2 daughters, Mildred W. Edwards of Richland, MS and Callie W. Campbell of Leland, MS; 3 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren and 2 great great granddaughters. The family will receive friends on Friday, May 4, 2012 at the family home.
