Funeral services for Gary Mark Downs, 49, of Russellville, AR and formerly of Greenville will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesdsay, September 14, 2011 at Boone-Wells Funeral Home, Greenville. He died Tuesday, September 13, 2011 at his sister’s home in Portland. Burial will be in Lakeview Gardens under the direction of Boone-Wells Funeral Home. Gary was a native of Greenville where he attended public schools. He was employed with Wepfer Marine for many years. He moved to Russellville, AR 7 years ago where he was a contractor for Con Agra. He is preceded in death by his parents, Dave Downs and Audrey Hearn Downs Newton and by his fiance, Marcie Moore. He is survived by 2 sons, Gary Downs, Jr. of Russellville, AR and Jeremy Parr of Tupelo, MS; 3 sisters, Peggy Johnson (Jackie) of Portland, AR; Marilyn Roncali (Terry) of Hornbeak, TN and Cindy Robinson (Rick) of Atlanta, GA; a brother, Gerald Downs (Vicky McMillan) of Vicksburg; 9 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 p.m., Wednesday at Boone-Wells Funeral Home.
