Funeral Mass for William “Sonny” R. Crook, 77, of Leland, MS will be at 11:00am Wednesday September 28, 2011 at St. James Catholic Church, Leland. He died Sunday, September 25th, 2011,at Delta Regional Medical Center, Greenville. Burial will follow in the Leland-Stoneville Cemetery. All arrangements are under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Leland. He was a native of Moorhead, MS and attended schools in Moorhead and Greenville. He had been a resident of Leland since 1975 where he was employed at DRMC in maintenance for 35 years. He was a communicant of St. James Catholic Church and was a honorary life member of C.G. Shapley Council Knights of Columbus. He is survived by his wife, Donna Hitchcock Crook of Leland and a sister, Carol Ann Skelton of Indianola. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00am Wednesday at the Church, with a rosary to be said at 10:30am.
