Funeral Mass for Mary Alice Abide Duncan will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 30 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Greenville. She died Saturday, May 26 at Delta Regional Medical Center. Burial will follow in the Greenville Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.
Mrs. Duncan was born in Greenville and graduated from Greenville High School. She married Bobby Duncan in 1961, and they made their home in Greenville. He preceded her in death in 2001. Mrs. Duncan was a communicant of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.
Survivors include her son, Robert Duncan (Silvia) and a granddaughter, Mary H. Duncan, all of Greenville; a brother, George V. Abide of Springdale, AR; and a hosts of nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 29 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with a rosary prayer service beginning at 7:30. A visitation will also be held 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. Wednesday before the services at the church. The family requests memorials be made to St. Joseph’s High School.
