Funeral services for Jerre Franklin Lane, 91, of Greenville will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 22, 2013 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. He died Sunday, March 17, 2013 at Delta Regional Medical Center. Burial will be in Greenville Cemetery under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville. Jerre served in the Army during World War II, operated Severs’ Florist in Greenville for many years and served as Vice Mayor of Greenville and on the Washington County Board of Supervisors. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Phyllis Severs Lane, second wife, Laura Condon Lane and his son, Jerre Severs Lane. He is survived by his step children Betty Lee Elliott of Memphis, TN, Mike Garver (Ellen), his step grandchildren, Julia Garver and Daniel Garver (Jane) and step-great grandchild, Jack Garver all of Atlanta, GA; his grandchildren, Mary Elizabeth Lane Gilliam (Jim), Roy Severs Lane (Joan) and Jerre Chambers Lane (Mitzi); his great grandchildren, Jeremy and Chelsey Gilliam, Brett and Charles Lane, MacKenzie, MaKarthy, Chambers and Channing Lane, all of north Mississippi. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 a.m., Friday, March 22, 2013 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Joseph’s Catholic School Capital Fund, P.
