Graveside services for LaVonne Dean Jefferson, 90, of Greenville will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 20 at Hickory Grove Cemetery, Inverness. She died Thursday, April 18 at Magnolia Gardens. Arrangements are under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville. Mrs. Jefferson was born in Salt Lake City, Utah and graduated from the University of Utah. She married William “Billy” Jefferson making their home in Greenville in 1955. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church and taught Kindergarten for 20 years. She was preceded in death by her husband and two sons, William Jefferson, Jr. and Robert Jefferson. She is survived by a daughter, Lee Ann Bowlin of Greenville, a son, Bradly Wonnacott (Mimi) of Atlanta, GA; 3 granddaughters, Allison Meek of New York, Kristen and Brittany Jefferson both of Houston, TX; 2 grandsons, Bradly Wonnacott, Jr. of Denver, CO and Donald Robert Jefferson of New York; and 4 great grandchildren. The family request that memorials be made to American Cancer Society.
