Graveside services for Robert Lee Burford, 50, of Greenville will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 23, 2011 at Lakeview Memorial Gardens, He died Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at UAB Medical Center in Birmingham, AL. Arrangements are under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville. He was a native of Greenville and graduated from Washington School where he was a member of the band and he was a graduate of Delta State University. He was an Eagle Scout which he was very proud of and was a member of First United Methodist Church where he sang in the choir. He is survived by his mother, Florine R. Burford of Greenville; a brother, William “Bill” Thomas Burford (Sandra) of Vicksburg and a sister, Rebecca Lynn Dye (Walker) of Courtland.
