Funeral services for Doris Jean Lenhart Wilson, 86, of Avon will be at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, February 16, 2012 at Boone Funeral Home. She passed away on Monday, February 13, 2012 at Delta Regional Medical Center. Burial will be in Greenville Cemetery under the direction of Boone Funeral Home. Doris Jean was born in Catchings, MS to the late Donald Henry Lenhart and Dora Boykin Lenhart. The family also lived in Delta City and was a long time resident in Murphy and Avon. She graduated from Hollandale high school and attended Hillman College for 2 years. Doris Jean was a long time member of Avon United Methodist Church. She was the county librarian in Avon for several decades . She was a devoted, caring, and loving wife and mother to her family. She is greatly missed. She was married to Joseph Harle Wilson, Jr. for 66 years. Harle preceded her in death. Her greatest joys were God, family, and friends. Survived by sister Clara Faye Keith of Hollandale, children Donna Ray (Joe) of Greenville and Joe Wilson (Sylvia) of Cary, NC; grandchildren Carrey Morales (Mike) of Round Rock, TX, Jaime Key (Carlo) of San Antonio, TX; Beth Pate(Mitchell) of Flowood, MS; Emily Ray of Jackson, MS; and great grandchildren Ethan Morales, Bella Morales, Christian Key, and Alexander Key; niece Linda Keith Franks (Joe) of Tupelo and nephew Thomas Donald Keith (Rainey) of Jacksonville, FL The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 a.m., Thursday, February 16, 2012 at Boone Funeral Home with Greg Ducker officiating.
