Funeral services for Kam Shiu Wong, age 87, of Plano, Texas and formerly of Greenville will be 3:00 p.m. Thursday, January 12 at Boone Funeral Home, Greenville. He died Monday, January 9 in Plano. Burial will follow in the Greenville Chinese Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Boone Funeral Home. Mr. Wong was born in 1924 in Canton, China. He owned and operated grocery stores on Poplar Street and Spruce Street in Greenville. After his retirement he lived in Greenville until moving to Plano, Texas. Mr. Wong was preceded in death by his wife, Ching Too Wong. He is survived by a daughter, May Wong, and her husband, Phillip Mueller of Plano. Visitation will be one hour before the services, 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. Thursday, January 12 at Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.
