Bobby Allen Whitlock

Greenville, MS Funeral services for Bobby Allen Whitlock, 79, of Greenville will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 16 at Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.  He died Friday, January 13 at University Medical Center in Jackson.  Burial will follow in the Greenville Cemetery.  Services are under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville. Bobby was born in Nettleton, MS and attended school there.  He served with the U.S. Marines during the Korean Conflict.  Bobby was the master craftsman behind Master Craft Upholstery for over 25 years, retiring in 2008.  He is now with his master and savior, Jesus Christ. Bobby was preceded in death by his first wife and mother of his children, Annie Whitlock; a son, Thomas Whitlock; his parents; and a sister.  He is survived by his wife, Glenda Whitlock of Greenville; a daughter, Sherry Whitlock Brown (William) of Sunflower; a son, Allen Whitlock of Greenville; a daugher-in-law, Carol Whitlock of Phoenix, AZ; a stepson, Ed Norton (Nora) of Eudora, AR; 9 grandchildren, Matthew Brown (Lindsay) of Schlater, MS, Drew White (Amanda) of Saltillo, MS, Carrie Smith (Reggie) of Louisiana, Bobby Allen Whitlock III (Felecia) of South Dakota, Clayton Whitlock of Louisiana, Jessica & Brianna Whitlock of Phoenix, AZ, and Chandler & Colby Horton of Eudora, AR; 4 sisters, Francis Russell of Okolona, MS, Linda Senter (Ferrell) of Fulton, MS, Carolyn Pigg (Harland) of Okolona, and Ann Bryan (Jimmy) of Okolona; 2 brothers, Sidney Whitlock (Brenda) and Billy Whitlock (Jean) all of Okolona; and 6 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be one hour before the service, 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 16 at Boone Funeral Home.   Memorials may be made to a favorite charity.
