Funeral services for Kenneth Cole, 74, of Greenville were held on Saturday, June 16 at Boone-Smith Funeral Home. He died Wednesday, June 13. Burial was in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
Kenny was born April 4, 1944 in Lake Village Arkansas to Raymond Cole and Emmie Lou Rusk Cole . He grew up all over, but after high school moved here to Greenville where he met Brenda and began his family . Kenny was a medic in the National Guard before becoming a Greenville police officer and later retired from the Greenville Fire Department.
He was an enthusiast that loved to race motorcycles, play paintball , play X box and vacation especially to Disney! He also loved his time with his fur babies Esmeralda and Quasimodo.
Surviving are his wife of 42 years Brenda Black Cole , daughter Kimberly Cole Guerrero, grandson Cole Guerrero, nieces Nicki and Isabelle Serio , Kathy Davis , nephew Reed Smith and Angie Davis and Paul Serio . Also in-laws Dudley Black III , Elfie Boweling , Dennis and Beverly Reeves, Terri Black ; nephews Dudley Black IV , Matthew Boweling, Jimmy, Avery, and Burkley McCarley , Callie Desmarais, Jamie Black , and many great nieces , nephews , cousins and friends .
Kenny is met with open arms by his parents, sister Connie Maxwell, brother, brother-in-law, William Black and nieces Angela Bradham and Rhonda Baugh .
