Graveside services for Erica Renee Key Carnell, 43, of Avon will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 5, 2021 at the Greenville Cemetery. She died Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at Delta Health-The Medical Center. Arrangements are under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.
Erica was born on March 8, 1978 in Greenville, MS to Dennis and Teresa Key. She graduated from Washington School in 1996 and was employed at Planters Bank until she was diagnosed with lymphoma cancer in October 2019. Erica was a member of Avon United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her father, Dennis Key, of Greenville; her maternal grandparents, Johnnie and Margaret Parkerson, of Greenville, and her paternal grandparents, Harry and Marie Key of Avon.
She is survived by her husband, Tommy Carnell of Avon; three sons, Patrick Carnell and fiance, Lydia Tice of Hattiesburg, Josh Carnell and Cameron Giesbrecht, of Avon and Zack Carnell of Avon; mother, Teresa Key of Greenville; two sisters, Elizabeth (Jon) Parker of Daphne, Alabama and Elaine (Chris) Garrett of Memphis, Tennessee; four nieces and nephews, Presley and Brady Parker, of Daphne, Alabama; Olivia and Graham Garrett, of Memphis, Tennessee; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Pallbearers will be Patrick Carnell, Josh Carnell, Zach Carnell and Roy Moore.
