Graveside services for Guy Raymond Hall, Sr., age 100, of Greenville will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, January 17 in the Greenville Cemetery. He died Saturday, January 15, 2022 at his home. Services are under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.
Mr. Hall was born in Greenville and graduated from Greenville High School. He married Norma Jefferies in 1942 and enlisted in the U.S. Air Force. He was honorably discharged in 1945 as a Master Sergeant. Guy returned to Greenville and spent his entire adult career in the automobile business, owning and operating Guy Hall Subaru until 1987. He then continued to work with his son until ill health forced him to retire. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Greenville serving as a deacon, elder, and choir member. Guy was an avid golfer and a member of the Delta Seniors.
Survivors include his wife of almost 80 years, Norma J. Hall of Greenville; a son, Guy Raymond Hall, Jr. of Greenville; 3 granddaughters, Jane Hall Stock (Gene) of Greenville, Anna Rives Hall O’Reilly (Rob) of Leland, and Shelby Hall Hollister (Graham) of Greenville; and 8 great-grandchildren.
