Jeanne Koch Hall

Graveside services for Jeanne Koch Hall, 99, of Hollandale will be at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 11, 2022, at the Hollandale Cemetery. She passed away on Thursday, October 6, 2022, at Magnolia Gardens Assisted Living in Greenville. Arrangements are under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Leland.

A native of California, Jeanne was the daughter of Myrtle Matson Koch and Col. Frank Martin Koch. In 1946 she married Dickson Liddell Hall of Hollandale after his discharge from World War II naval service.

Jeanne was an active member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Hollandale. She was also a member of the Hollandale Garden Club and the Daughters of the American Revolution. For many years, Jeanne loved playing bridge with her lifelong friends from Hollandale.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Dickson Liddell Hall, and her sister, Betty Anne Westcott of Danville, CA.

She is survived by her daughters, Marilyn (John) Allan of Covington, LA, and Merry Anne (Murphy) Jones of Greenville, MS; grandchildren, John Allan III of Alexandria, VA, Amy McIntyre of Mandeville, LA, Lauren Marconi of Starkville, MS, Meryl Ryder of New Orleans, LA, and six great grandchildren.

The family wishes to acknowledge the devotion of her caregivers at Magnolia Gardens, especially Boronda Williams and Gerri McVay. A special thank you to our friend and hospice nurse, Sarah Jones, for her loving care.
