Helen Upton Taylor, age 94, of Greenville went to her Heavenly Home to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 8, 2024. Ms. Taylor passed away at Washington Care Center in Greenville
Ms. Taylor was born in Kosciusko, MS to Ollie and Lela Barnes Upton on October 2, 1929.
She was preceded in death by both parents, 2 sons, John Phillips and Greg Phillips, granddaughter, Karen Breithaupt Lang, great-grandchildren, Brittney Phillips, Anniston Thornton, Katy Menotti, and Collin Hill and one brother, Johnny Upton.
Ms. Taylor is survived by three children, Janie (Kenny) Sanders, Shirley Breithaupt, and Wayne Phillips, all of Greenville, MS; 9 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 14 great-great-grandchildren, and 3 sisters.
There will be a private family graveside service in the Greenville Cemetery under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville. Ms. Taylor’s daughter, Shirley Breithaupt, will be honoring their mother by reading 2 poems, 3 bible passages, and a closing prayer.
