Funeral services for Lillian Margaret Dalton Boone, 84, of Starkville will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 10 at First Presbyterian Church, Starkville. She entered the gates of Heaven on September 7, 2013. Graveside services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 10 in Leland-Stoneville Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Leland.
Lillian was born on July 26, 1929. She is preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Boone and her parents, J.C. and Ruby Dalton. Lillian is survived by her children. Jacque and Ray Chancellor and Carol Boone; her grandchildren Nikki and Cameron Nicholson and Shae and Austin Rollans; and her precious great- granddaughter Jayden Rollans. Lillian is also survived by her siblings, A.C. and Laura Dalton, Kate and Ray Thornton, Peggy Spence, Dinky and Dick Newman, and Fat and Pat Dalton. Friends and family loved “Lil” and will miss her dearly.
A visitation will be held one hour before the services on Tuesday at the First Presbyterian Church, Starkville.
