Funeral services for Ann Elizabeth Frazier Makamson, 82, of Alpharetta, GA and formerly of Greenville will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 9, 2013 at Boone Funeral Home, Greenville. She died Tuesday, November 5, 2013 in Alpharetta, GA. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.
Ann was born in Greenwood, MS and graduated from Greenwood High School. On February 7, 1955 she married Charlie Marion Makamson. They made their home in Greenville where she worked for Virden Lumber Company, Chicago Mill & Lumber, and Bungie Corporation.
She is preceded in death by her husband. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Shamoun (Joseph); 3 sons, Charlie “Chuck” Makamson, Jr., Don Makamson, and Ron Makamson (Amy) and four grandchildren, Kaylee, Kinsee, John David and Matthew all of Alpharetta, GA and a sister, Rachel Young of Greenwood, MS.
The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Friday, November 8, 2013 at Boone Funeral Home, Greenville. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (StJude.org).
