Chun Chung Leung

Funeral services for Chun Chung Leung of Greenville will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday, January 5 at Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.   He died Thursday, January 2, 2014 at Delta Regional Medical Center.
Burial will follow in the Greenville Chinese Cemetery.

Mr. Leung was born in Hong Kong and moved to San Francisco in 1970.  He later moved to Greenville where he graduated from Greenville High School.  He enlisted in the U.S. Marines.  After his discharge, he returned to Hong Kong and married Kit Ming Chiu.  They made their home in Greenville where he owned and operated Stop and Save Grocery.  Mr. Leung was a member of the the First Baptist Church Chinese Mission.  He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed bike riding.

He is survived by his wife,  Kit Ming Chiu Leung of Greenville; 2 daughers, Tina Hooker (Clay) of Jackson, MS and Madeline Leung of Greenwich, CT; and one grandson, Grady Hooker.

A visitation will be held one hour before services Sunday at Boone Funeral Home.
