Graveside services for Allen Wayne Mosley, 87, of Greenville will be at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, August 22 at Lakeview Memorial Gardens. He died Wednesday, August 19 at home.
Mr. Mosley was born in Louisville, MS the son of Allen and Catherine Mosley. He married Mildred Watkins in 1948. They made their home in Greenville where they were engaged in farming. Mr. Mosley was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. He was a loving and devoted husband and daddy.
Mr. Mosley was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Clyde Mosley, a sister, Dorethea Burchfield and by his wife.
Survivors include five daughters, Peggy Mosley of Phoenix, AZ; Debbie M. Salley (Craig) of Arlington, TN; Terry M. Anderson (Scott) of Owensboro, KY; Cathy M. Nunnery (Chip) of Greenville, MS; Christi M. Hamm (Ken) of Tullahoma, TN; 3 sisters, Ruth Thompson of Greenville, MS, Mary Lee Alkire of Searcy, AR, Jean Watson of Indianola; 2 brothers, Esker Mosley of Moody, AL and Joe Mosley of Beebe, AR; 14 grandchildren, Bryan, Ryan, Amy, Jennifer, Nichol, Craig, Bo, Cole, Dylan, Whitney, Jason, Shelley, Kathleen and Christina; and 24 great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 22, 2015 at Boone Funeral Home.
