Funeral services for Melvin A. Flemings, 77, of Isola were at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 2 at United Pentecostal Church, Belzoni. He died Tuesday, March 29 at his home in Isola. Burial was in Greencrest Cemetery under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Indianola.
He is survived by his wife Frances Barnett Flemings of Isola; 3 daughters, Betty Sue Bowman of Indianola, Tonua Flemings of Indianola and Robin Flemings of Isola; 4 sons, Melvin Flemings, Jr. of Bono, AR, Bubby Ray Flemings of San Diego, CA, Garry Dean Flemings of Sunflower, MS and Joseph Ray Flemings of Indianola; 18 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
