Funeral services for Martha Jean Boyles, 88, of Iuka and formerly of Greenville will be at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 17 at Boone Funeral Home, Greenville. She died Friday, October 13 at Tishomingo Community Living Center. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.
Mrs. Boyles lived in Greenville most of her life until moving to Iuka in 2011. She was a caring and loving person and had a great sense of humor. She always put others before herself, loving her family very much and was a good Christian woman.
She was preceded in death by her husband James H. Boyles, Sr., a sister, and seven brothers, and by a grandchild and one great grandchild. She is survived by four daughters, Ruth Smith, Judy Boyles, Glenda Sue Chandler and Karen James; five sons, James “Jimmy” H. Boyles, Jr., Joseph Boyles, Michael Boyles, Gary Boyles and Donald Boyles; brother, John Peebles; fourteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
There will be a visitation from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Monday, October 16 at Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.
