A celebration of life for Adam Crawford Tuck, 30, of Belzoni will be at 11 a.m., Friday, May 6th at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Greenville. He died Tuesday, May 3rd, as a result of a car accident. Burial will be in Leland-Stoneville Cemetery.
Adam was born on March 19, 1986 at King’s Daughters Hospital in Greenville, MS. He graduated from Humphreys Academy in Belzoni in 2004 as salutatorian of his class. Adam played football and basketball and made it to state as an avid tennis player. He earned a degree in Computer Programming from Mississippi Delta Community College and attended Delta State University enrolled in the Delta Music Institute Program. All who knew Adam knew that being a chef was his heart. He loved cooking and creating his own original recipes. His love of cooking was cultivated while working with his family at Tuck’s Place in Belzoni. After moving to Oxford, MS, Adam continued his cooking skills at Delta Steak Company in Abbeville, MS. Adam also had a special passion for Notre Dame football. Some of his favorite weekends were those spent in South Bend with family.
Adam was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Myrle Grimsley Oberle and his paternal grandfather Gaston Bishop (Mike) Tuck. He is survived by his parents Cindy and Terry Tuck and brother Matthew of Belzoni, grandfather Ken Oberle of Greenville, grandmother Thalia (Tiny) Tuck of Maben, MS and a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins and many, many friends.
Visitation will be held from 5 – 7 pm Thursday May 5th at Boone Funeral Home in Greenville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Belzoni Animal Rescue Kennel (BARK), c/o BankPlus, 202 E. Jackson St., Belzoni, MS 39038.
