Memorial services for Alan Duane Walker, 62, of Greenville will be held at a later date. He died Wednesday, August 2 at his home. Arrangements were under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.
Alan was born in Greenwood and moved to Greenville at an early age where he graduated from Greenville High School. He then attended Mississippi Delta Community College and transferred to Delta State University where he received a degree in Criminal Justice. Alan was employed with the Leland Police Department while in college. After graduation he became employed with the State Tax Commission as an ABC agent later became an Insurance Adjuster with Crawford Insurance Agency and GAB. Alan loved animals.
He is survived by his mother, Loretta Osborne of Greenville; 4 aunts, Patricia Pope of Naples, FL, Janice Foreman of Grenada, Sharon Bradford of Clinton and Sandra Long of Clinton and many cousins.
