Funeral services for Alice Eloise Upton, 75, of Greenville will be at 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 28 at Emmanuel Baptist Church. She died Friday, November 25 at her home. Burial will be in Lakeview Gardens under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.
She was born in the Greenville area where she received her education. She married Paul Upton and they made their home in Greenville. Alice was employed with the Washington County Health Department and after her retirement she became secretary for New Life Church of God. She had been a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church since April 2016.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Paul B. Upton of Greenville; 4 daughters, Gail Irion (James) of Greenville, Connie O’Neal (Jimmy) of Leland, Scharotte Kilgore (Randy) of Greenville and Paula Smith (Marty) of Petal; son, Bradley Upton of Greenville; brother, John Ault of South Carolina; 2 sisters, Linda Burgess of South Carolina and Lorene Griffin of Greenville; 10 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
