Funeral services for Alice Fay Trotter Fee, 79, of Avon will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 11, 2018 at Boone Funeral Home, Greenville. She died Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at Washington Care Center in Greenville after a brief illness. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.
Mrs. Fee was born in Glen Allen, MS on October 10, 1938. After graduation from Riverside High School she started a career in the retail business where she worked in the clothing and cosmetic industries for many years.
She loved gardening and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a member of Avon Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents Hiram and Florence Cochran.
She is survived by a son, Billy Joe Trotter Jr. of Avon; a brother, David Cochran Sr. of Avon; and three grandchildren, Clarke Trotter (Jordan), Allison Montague (David) and Cecilia Trotter all of Greenville and three great grandchildren Fred Trotter, and McKenzie and Cameron Montague.
A visitation will be held one hour before the service at the funeral home.
