Memorial services for Angela Denise Lofton Coleman, 54, of Greenville will be at noon on Friday, January 21, 2022 at Boone Funeral Home, Greenville. She died Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at Delta Health-The Medical Center.
Angie was born on August 28, 1967 to Leroy and Vivian Annette Walker Lofton. She graduated from Greenville Christian and Delta State University. She married John Cary Coleman on February 2, 1991 and they made their home in Greenville. In her teen years she played softball, playing on many traveling teams. Angie enjoyed watching her boys play all sports from little league to high school and anything she could watch them play. She enjoyed hunting, going to the lake, and spending time with family.
She worked at Jefferson Bank where she has worked in several different capacities including Senior Loan Administrator, Assistant Vice President and Assistant Security Officer.
She is preceded in death by her father Leroy Lofton in 2001. She is survived by her husband, Cary Coleman; two sons, John-Austin Franklin Coleman and Walker Alexander Coleman; mother, Annette Lofton; brother, Darron Lofton (Christy) and a host of nieces and nephews and a host of great nieces and nephews.
There will be a visitation from 10:00-12:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Batson Children’s Hospital.
