Angie Marie Oddo Drago

Private Graveside services for Angie Marie Drago, age 82, of Cleveland will be held in the Greenville Cemetery.  She died peacefully in her home on August 16, 2020.  Services are under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.

She was born August 25, 1938, in Alexandria, Louisiana to George and Rosa Oddo. After high school, she married her sweetheart, Johnny Drago and moved to Greenville, MS. They ran a grocery store in Greenville, MS for 31 years until he passed in 1987. She then moved to Cleveland, MS and has now run a store for the past (31) years.

She always thought of others before herself and had a heart of gold. She loved her store and loved being around all of her customers. She was the most hard-working individual and instilled that in everyone that she was around. She was a constant reminder of resilience and endurance. She never gave up and always found a way to make things work and make everything around her better. She loved the Lord and longed to be healed from her illnesses and hardships. She loved to cook and have a table full of people to enjoy her food. She attended Covenant Presbyterian church with her family. She was grateful to all the caregivers that helped her along the way. The family would like to especially thank Shirley Swan for her long time loving care of Angie over the years.  

In addition to her parents and husband she is predeceased by her daughter, Rosalie Drago. She is survived by her daughters, Angela and her husband, Buddy Williams, Johnna and her husband, Michael Harris, and Rose Marie Drago; her son, Johnny Drago and Jeana; her sister, Virginia Ann Williams; seven grandchildren, Johnathan Williams, Jake Black, Josh Black and wife, Morgan, Kayla Rose Drago, Lauren Ashley Collins, Taylor Collins, and Rebecca Collins; and five great grandchildren, Cyrus McClain Black, Macie Mae Black, Emma George, Grayson George, and Aden George.

Memorials may be made in memory of Angie Drago and in honor of Rebecca Collins to Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital FedEx Family Home.
