Annie L. Tharp, 70, of Greenville passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2020.
Mrs. Tharp grew up in Delta City prior to making her home in Greenville. She worked at Delta Regional Medical Center in medical records for 43 1/2 years, retiring due to health reasons.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leroy and Katie Chaney Kent; sisters, Sarah Lee Cooper, Betty Ann White, Lillian Vineyard, and great nephew Dusty Cooper.
She is survived by a special niece, Tina Vineyard of Hot Springs Village, AR; sisters, Mary Elizabeth Cooper of Glen Allan, Katie Evers (Charles) and Jean Bland of Greenville; brother-in-law, Billy Bob Vineyard of Greenville; six nieces, seven nephews, seven great nieces, six great nephews, three great great nieces, four great great nephews and numerous cousins and friends.
A memorial will be held at a later date due to the current State and County ordinances.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to New Beginnings Baptist Church, 137 West Reed Road, Greenville, MS 38701.
