Funeral services for Barbara Logan Hazzard, 74, of Greenville will be at 12pm, Friday, October 27 at First Baptist Church, 407 Main Street, Greenville. She died Tuesday, October 24 at the Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. Burial will be in the Greenville City Cemetery under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.
Mrs. Hazzard was born on October 4, 1943 in Tocoa, GA, to Hilman and Margie Logan. She graduated from Greenville High School and attended Mississippi University for Woman in Columbus, MS. She married Ramon Hardy Hazzard of Cleveland, MS, in 1965, and had three children. Mrs. Hazzard spent the majority of her life as a faithful spouse and mother to her family. She was a woman of many gifts, talents and creativity which she used to bless her family, friends, church and community.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband.
She is survived by her children, Shelby Hazzard, spouse, Angie, of Columbus, MS; Brent Hazzard of Jackson, MS; Mrs. Shannon Burrow, spouse, Gary of Little Rock, AR; and six grandchildren, Shelby Logan Hazzard, Jr., Brennan Barfield, Mary Lauren Hazzard, Micah Alexander Hazzard, Adrianna Barfield and Chloe Faith Hazzard.
There will be a visitation from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church. Dr. Jay Richardson will officiate the services. Memorials may be made to Woodland Baptist Church, 3033 Ridge Road, Columbus, MS 39705.
