Funeral services for Baron T. “Snoopy” Clyde, 56, of Hollandale will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 8 at Boone Funeral Home Chapel, Hollandale. He died Monday, July 3 at Delta Regional Medical Center. Arrangements are under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Leland.
He was born on July 13, 1960 and moved to the Mississippi Delta in 1992 to work with Splash Casino. In 1993 he moved to Greenville to work as a slot technician at the Cotton Club Casino. He met and married Valerie Guyton and they were married 22 years until his death.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Bette Cora Boren. He is survived by his wife, Valerie Guyton Clyde; son, Kip Clyde; 2 daughters, Cydnee Clyde and Lindsay Clyde Brown; 2 brothers, Craig Grant and Richard Grant; 3 sisters, Carrie Colyar, Suzanne Hawkins and Taryn Bazzano; 2 nephews, Ethan Willis and Zachary Hawkins and 2 nieces, Maddie Hawkins and Priscilla Willis.
There will be a visitation one hour prior to services at Boone Chapel, Hollandale.
