On November 7, 2021, the good Lord called Bernice (Bernie) Victor Kyle home to be with his mom Mable Sledge Wise, his dad, John Franklin Wise, his father Victor Webster Kyle, his baby brother Emmit Kyle and his identical twin brother Bertron (Bert) Webster Kyle.

Bernie is survived by his daughter and greatest love of his life Rena Renee Kyle Bennett, his son-in-law, Robert Wayne Bennett both of Jackson, MS; a sister Jenny Wise Pearson, of Southaven, MS; 3 nephews, Dwayne Kyle of Greenville, MS, Steven Kyle Pearson of Monroe, LA and Jason Hunter Kyle of Tupelo, MS; 2 nieces, Jennifer (Pearson) Brackin of Southaven, MS and Candace Kyle Walters of Columbus, MS, the mother of his daughter, Deborah Gail Norton Clolinger of Byram, MS ,a best friend of over 20 years, Sybil York of Pearl, MS and a granddog Clyde Norton Kyle.

Bernie worked at Jitney Jungle for over 25 years. He was a dedicated, hardworking and very well-respected man that would help anyone. He was loved by everyone. He was a huge jokester.

He was a wonderful son and brother, but more importantly the best father that ever walked the face of this earth. His greatest accomplishment, pride and joy was his daughter, Rena Renee. Bernie loved all sports especially baseball and was a diehard Atlanta Braves Fan. He loved his football just about as equally, with the New Orleans Saints being his favorite. He loved cars, racing and wrestling but I would have to say that nothing, no one, or anything came before his daughter, Rena Renee or his mother, Mable Wise. Bernie had just turned 81 years old September 17 and was born in 1940.

He will be forever missed and has left a huge gap in a lot of hearts but none as big as in the one of his daughters.
