Graveside services for Betty S. Clark, 86, of Greenville, will be at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, August 16, 2020, at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. She passed away on Thursday, August 13, 2020, at her home surrounded by her loved ones. Arrangements are under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.
She was born in Rosedale, MS on November 27, 1933, to C. W. and Clatie Lum Sosebee of Rosedale. She attended public school in Rosedale where she graduated in 1951. She met her husband of 36 years, Robert H. Clark in 1951 and was married in 1952 in Leland, MS. Betty and Robert moved to Greenville to work and start a family. She worked at Greenville Mills and later at Nicholson File and then Hager Hinge until retiring.
She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Greenville.
She is survived by three sons, Howard (Steve) Keith Clark of Houston, TX, Ronald Alan Clark and Randall Clayton Clark both of Wayside; daughter, Tammy Denise McMahon (Loyd, Jr.) of Avon; four grandchildren, Drew McMahon (Mary Beth), Bronwyn Enders (Shane), Robyn Hughes (Joseph) and Kasey Clark; seven great-granddaughters, two great grandsons and one on the way.
