Funeral services for Bettye Jayne Pearson, 81, of Greenville will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday at Boone Funeral Home, Greenville. She died Friday, October 26 at Delta Regional Medical Center. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Pearson was born in Goodman, MS where she graduated high school. She married James Pearson making their home in Kosciusko until moving to Greenville in 1961. She was employed with Greenville Mills and later worked with her husband as a contractor. Mrs. Pearson was a member of the Church of Christ. She loved to read, work in her yard and do all sorts of crafts. She also had a love for animals.
She is survived by her husband, James Pearson of Greenville; daughter , Cindy P. Tripplett (Robert) of Greenville; two sisters, Sicily Sims of Arab, AL and Lois Upton of Canton, MS; brother, Pete McBride of Morton, MS; two grandchildren, Kate Clark and Megan McCluskey and two great grandchildren, Rowan and Gavin McCluskey.
